Delineation of nodal regions of the Czech Republic is based on daily spatial interactions at micro-regional level. Simple method of the first flow has been applied to classify a municipality into a micro-region. A micro-region has had to include at least five municipalities, i.e. the centre of a micro-region has had to attract the first flows from at least four other municipalities. Data, daily travel-to-work flows, have been acquired from the 2001 census.
